THE SOUTH BRONX CULTURE TRAIL engages artists, scholars and community members in developing a physical and virtual trail that connects culturally significant moments in the history of the South Bronx.

CASITA MARIA, CITY LORE and DANCING IN THE STREETS are collaborating to commission and install a series of distinctive physical markers that identify key locations in the cultural history of the South Bronx, ensuring and preserving its legacy for current and future generations.

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, VOTE! presents proposals for the design of the SOUTH BRONX CULTURE TRAIL markers. Come to the Casita Maria Gallery, take a look around and use the exhibition postcards to vote on your top three design selections. Your vote, along with those of our South Bronx Culture Trail Advisory Council, will determine the final selected concept for production.
