The First Ever Community Fundraiser at Casita Maria

January 27, 2016

Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education, located in the South Bronx, is proud to welcome and host comedian Elizardi Castro’s Made in Puerto Rico, on Thursday, March 24, 2016. This family-friendly 80-minute stand up will take place for the first time in the Bronx at 7PM with an engaging question and answer session following the show.

Elizardi Castro combines his Puerto Rican heritage with American culture to create a spanglish riot of laughter. His experience as an attorney and artistic creator embodies the mission of Casita Maria and this performance is a special opportunity for the Latino community to celebrate their identity with pride and for New York City to get a glimpse of what makes being Puerto Rican special.

Advance general admission tickets are $20 and $25 on the day of the performance. The comedy show is part of Casita Maria’s first ever community fundraising effort, which offers an opportunity to engage with families and members of the community while encouraging them to help support Casita’s mission to empower youth and their families by creating a culture of learning through high quality social, cultural and educational opportunities. Tickets can be purchased at elicastro.com.
